Análisis del desempeño económico y de los factores que inciden en el sector de la construcción en el Ecuador, retos y oportunidades post efecto Covid 19.

Abstract:

The construction sector is one of the most productive areas and one of the largest generators of employment in the world, it is also one of the sectors that most influences Ecuador's GDP. The study topic is precisely, the economic impact that the construction sector has had in the period 2012-2018 and what will be the challenges and opportunities that they will have after COVID-19. The analysis of the evolution of the economic indicators of this sector in Guayaquil and the sensitivity it has with the political decisions made by the government. This study has a qualitative focus, for which ten interviews have been carried out with professionals related to this sector and entrepreneurs, where it was possible to verify how they will face this new challenge that has a vital sector for the Ecuadorian economy.
