Propuesta de plan de desarrollo para el uso turístico del Sendero de Galerita en el cantón Muisne de la provincia de Esmeraldas.

Abstract:

The path of Galerita belonging to the commune Aventura de la Vida Real, parish Galera located in the canton Muisne of the province of Esmeraldas 91.4 km from the city of Esmeraldas to the canton. The path also known as El Salto de Estero de Plátano is a tropical forest with river, waterfall, the land measures 212 meters of which in distance to reach the waterfall is 2.8 kilometers. Its main activities within the forest are livestock, timber extraction, agriculture, hunting and poultry farming. It is a perfect place for hiking, bathing in the waterfall and camping, has a very diverse flora and fauna such as: deer, armadillo, howler monkeys, saíno among others; of flora has orchids, sande, damagua, tagua, chanul and others. Through the diagnosis made it can be noted that the trail doesn’t have tourism infraestructure to deliver a good quality service almost doesn’t have the necessary securities required by a tourist When hiking in the same way requires a tourist improvement to make the place accessible to local and foreign tourists. Within the study that was carried out the community is interested in the tourism activities that are going to be carried out. The study evidences the interest that exists on the part of the demand interested in getting involved in the activities within the path as well as the interest on the part of the receiving community in being part of the activities and in benefiting from the visit of the tourists. Realizing the SWOT analysis, it was possible to identify the existing strengths and faults of the trail and through this study to improve and provide the respective attention to convert the place into tourist use for visitors and thus achieve the benefit of the population in the social field, tourist and economic. The objective of the project is to elaborate a proposal of development plan for tourist use through the identified defects and thus propose improvement actions that the path requires to become a tourist product.
