Propuesta de planeación de requerimientos de materiales aplicado al proceso de cartón corrugado.

Abstract:

The following document is focused on the corrugated paperboard boxes in a cardboard company. The investigation was descriptive, and explanatory, with a systematic selection and indirect observation technique, the causes of the problem were identified; such as imprecision of the forecasts of material requirements, deficiencies in the production master plan. These causes represent a waste of $ 33,558.28 for inopportune paper supply causing material waste from every side of the paper, with standard value set by the company of 1.6% waste for TRIM. It is proposed to apply a moving average (quarterly projection) to make requirements according to the lead time according to the company’s suppliers. It is also proposed to codify the materials by grammage and width, updating the list of materials BOM (Bill of materials), facilitating a reliable explosion of needs via SAP-MRP system. The plan incurs a total amount of investment of $ 50,800.00 dollars, with an IRR (internal rate of return) of 20% and the NPV (net present value), estimated at $139,877.
