Propuesta de sistema de gestión de seguridad y salud ocupacional de la Coordinación Regional Austro del Ministerio de Industrias y Productividad

Abstract:

The Safety and Occupational Health Management System is a commitment and responsibility of enterprises and organizations, public or private. This makes possible the prevention of accidents, occupational diseases and economic costs for the company. That makes possible to get greater productivity and worker safety. This paper is based on Resolution 333 (Resolucion 333) which regulates the Risk on Work Audit System (Sistema de Auditoria de Riesgos de Trabajo) (SART) and Executive Order 2393 (Decreto 2393) Safety and Health and Work Environment Improvement (Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud de los trabajadores y Mejoramiento) Regulations belonging to the Social Security Ecuadorian Institute (Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social). The present proposal was initiated by strategic planning and organizational management based on processes of the Austro Regional Coordination of the Industry and Productivity Ministry (Coordinación Regional del Austro Ministerio de Industrias y Productividad). Then a diagnosis of the current situation of the organization, analyzing and identifying the risks. A Safety and Occupational Health System design were performed, establishing preventive and corrective actions procedures. Finally, Management System costs for implementation were budgeted.
