Propuesta didáctica para estimular la creatividad y la inteligencia emocional desde el Área de Educación Cultural y Artística en los estudiantes de 2do EGB de la Escuela de Educación Básica Particular Universidad Católica.


Abstract:

The objective of this proposal is to stimulate the creativity and emotional intelligence in children from the first grade of elementary school (ages 6-7), through the Cultural and Artistic Education (CAE) area. Cultural and Artistic Education has been neglected in the education process, because of the lack of understanding in its value in the integral development of children and young people. The age group has been selected considering the great creative and emotional potential they possess, and hoping to take advantage of it. This potential is normally discouraged with the excuse that students must forget games, and even their own body and emotions for them to be able to learn scientific knowledge. This proposal is based in the active methodology, and in the workshop as a didactic strategy, this allows the student an experience-based learning. Three work blocks have been designed; they relate to the CAE syllabus. Each block contains five sessions that follow the creative process, and integrate emotions in the realization of the different activities in different artistic languages.
