Propuesta en la gestión de flotas de transporte para una planta procesadora de camarón ubicada en el Cantón Durán

Abstract:

The following work of historic and expalanatory investigation, was made in Ecuador in the state of Guayas and its objective was to analize the causes and effects that caused by the lack of units are involved in the managment of transport for shrimp proccesing plant located in the district of Duran evaluating the operative and economic impact it produces. When having an efficient managment of fleet, the existing demand of vehicles can be fulfilled and it allows fulfilling with the programmed sale and it generates a major income to the proccesing plant. The proccesing plant in study provided the information that is found in the database of the department of logistic about vehicles, mode of contract, shrimp pounds and costs since january of 2014 until december of the following year. The evaluated registry corresponding to the requested and delivered fleet program, the planification of commercialized pounds and delivered, it's model of employment. With the recollected information, it was made an analisis of the quantity of the fleet, participation of the modality of contract transport, and it was determined that there is a considerable level of unfulfillment of solicited vehicles and comercialized pounds with the result being the best the contract the model A, because of its service and movilization costs.
