Propuesta urbano-arquitectónico para la reorganización de comercios ambulantes y espacios públicos entre la Av. Casuarina y distribuidor tráfico de la vía Perimetral,Guayaquil”

Abstract:

The city of Guayaquil has become a great center of activities both at a commercial and cultural-labor level, among others, which has led to other factors such as territorial expansion and human settlements in the peripheral parts of the northwest of the city of Guayaquil. This brought with it attracted the important need to seek a job environment for people with limited economic resources and to have a way of subsisting. Informal trade today is visible since it is one of the most accessible sources of work for people located in popular sectors of the city of Guayaquil: The "Lomas de la Florida" and "El Fortín de la Flor" Cooperatives are characterized due to a great commercial development influenced by its status as a central node of commerce and large influxes of people in the sector. They attract with them problems of environmental aspects, security, and massive congestion. The purpose of the present work is to give strategies for an urban-architectural improvement of the commercial and productive activities of the surroundings of the "Entrance of the Eight". Among the objectives are: the identification of spaces for the development of outdoor trade, providing environmental solutions to the sector and proposing strategies for the creation of public spaces.
