Propuestas para mejorar el plan nacional de desarrollo de la banda ancha en el Ecuador

Abstract:

Due to the development of telecommunications worldwide and its importance, in this study the evolution of Broadband is analyzed in several countries, the overall statistic, major impacts in economic and social levels, plans and policies implemented by some countries to ensure their optimal development, driving the rest of the world to follow suit and form Broadband plans for their respective nations in order to improve the quality of life of people. the beginnings of the use of information and communication technologies , the global reality of broadband and the current situation in Ecuador is analyzed, concluding with the structure of an action plan to have a true broadband policy, objectives and goals restructured from the current plan of broadband in the country and plans of developed countries, taking in consideration to increase infrastructure, facilitating Internet access, ensuring universal access to the Ecuadorian population and thus meeting the national targets raised to build the Information Society in the country.
