Providing web services over DVB-H: mobile virtual web services

Abstract:

In this paper we introduce our experiences in accessing Web Services (WS) from DVB-H terminals. As client should be as simple as possible, we propose to move its complexity to the DVB-H provider by defining Virtual WS. Because of this virtualization, the DVB-H provider makes the mobile client independent of the service location or availability and even makes the client QoS-aware. © 2007 IEEE.
