Abstract:

The present study Public Policy Research and Rural Development, the parish Los Encuentros, has main objective to analyze current public policies in Ecuador, rural development oriented territorial scope, from three strategic areas: building popular power and the state, rights and freedoms for the good life, and economic and productive transformation. The specific objectives aim: To identify public policies for display of local and rural development with equity, management and administration of the Vestry; recognize and evaluate the contribution of political actors. The methodology used was based on the application of scientific method to their respective subsidiary, descriptive, experiential and analytical methods. The research results will be very useful as they allow management to know GAD parish, knowing the degree of citizen participation and the interest of the entities to solve the problems facing disadvantaged areas.
