Proyecto de creación, implementación del club materno en el Hospital Básico San Andrés de Flavio Alfaro 2010

Abstract:

The women pregnant residents in the sector of Flavio Alfaro doesn't assist its pregnancy appropriately or they are not controlled, for that that the implementation of a Maternal Club in the Basic Hospital San Andres of Flavio Alfaro, allows to revert this situation. The objective of the investigation was: To implement the Maternal Club in the Basic Hospital San Andres of Flavio Alfaro, and the specific objectives: To determine the Level of the users' Knowledge on the infantile maternal cares; to Elaborate a Plan of Training for the personnel and users of the Maternal Club and to Design Managerial Proposal of implementation of the Maternal Club. It was an investigation not experimental and descriptive, developed in the year 2010. The universe was the entirety of the pregnant ones assisted in the year and the personnel of the Hospital involved in its attention; the representative statistical sample was calculated by universal formula and for the personnel, the sample was the universe. Managerial tools were used. You concluded that: The pregnant ones in their majority don't give importance to the prenatal control neither their rhythm, they don't have bad habits in the pregnancy, they ignore the factors of waterings, they don't give importance to the ecografia neither they know how many weeks of gestation they study, neither they know the childbirth signs; they give importance to the maternal nursing and all are willing to receive consultantship pre and postnatal. The training plans for the employees develop the required competitions and for the pregnant ones it allows them to acquire knowledge for a better pregnancy. The design of the proposal of Implementation of the Maternal Club was elaborated like project with all its elements. It was recommended: to the external users that welcomed with approval the project of the Maternal Club; that the personnel and the pregnant ones go to the Training and that the Direction, the personnel and the pregnant ones cooperate to the development of the project. The results surrendered to the Direction of the Hospital for their application.
