A binary shuffled frog-leaping algorithm for the optimal placement and sizing of photovoltaics grid-connected systems
Abstract:
This paper introduces a Shuffled Frog-Leaping algorithm based method to accomplish optimal location and size of a Photovoltaic Grid-Connected System for distributed power generation. The main technical constraint is the maximum installed peak power, which is limited for Distribution Companies. The fitness function to be optimized is the profatibility index. Comparisons among the proposed algorithm and other methods are performed. The proposed algorithm reaches the bests solutions when a similar computational time is considered. © 2011 Praise Worthy Prize S.r.l. - All rights reserved.
