Prácticas de crianza y la incidencia en el desarrollo cognitivo de niños de 3 y 4 años Premi Mi Casita Grande en la ciudad de Guayaquil


Abstract:

This research is focused on parenting practices and the impact on the cognitive development of 3- and 4-year-old children at Premi Mi Casita Grande in the city of Guayaquil, specifically in the Popular Bastion sector. The results obtained were very relevant, it was evidenced that parents are those who carry out cognitive parenting practices with their children, more than mothers or other people who take care of children but in a scarce way, and in terms of socio-emotional practices both parents are very rare, so it is logical that cognitive development is delayed in children. The same behavior is expressed in terms of the activities of reading stories, comics, as well as playing with them, this is with homemade toys, manufactured or objects that serve as part of the game, sing to them, explain what questions or concerns you have from the context around them. The variables on which this study was based were: parenting practices, especially for parents and children´s cognitive development. Several instruments were applied such as: multiple indicator questionnaire by conglomerates addressed to both children and their parents, and the questionnaire called Parenting Alliance Inventory (PAI) and various subscales of the Woodcock Muñoz related to children's cognitive development.
