Psychosocial Risks and Job Satisfaction: A descriptive cross-sectional study applied to the administrative staff of a higher education institution in the Republic of Ecuador


Abstract:

The objective of this research was to study the correlation between psychosocial risks and job satisfaction of administrative staff. The research was analytical descriptive of non-experimental field. Data collection was through survey and instrument, based on the CoPsoQistas21 questionnaires21 and the General Job Satisfaction Scale. The data were processed through SPSS and it was concluded that the categories (Social Support, Leadership Quality and Estimation) established in the psychosocial risk questionnaire, are at an unfavorable level, in addition it indicates failures in areas of Leadership and Teamwork, causal factor of the decrease of psychosocial hygiene factors.
