Quality of nursing care in pressure ulcers in patients belonging to the morete-puyo health area
Abstract:
Pressure ulcers (PU) are lesions of the skin or underlying tissues as a result of an ischemic process caused by prolonged pressure, friction or shearing. Objective: to determine the quality of nursing care in pressure ulcers in patients belonging to the Morete-Puyo health area. Methods: a descriptive, analytical study was conducted with a cross-sectional approach with a sample study 73 patients with PPU in the period May 2019-May 2020. Results: the highest representativeness was given in the age groups of more than 63 years followed by 52-62 years with 29 and 25 patients representing 74 %; of the patients studied 43 delayed from 91 to 180 days and from 180 to 360 days for healing and healing with 59 % of notability and the category of the UPP in which nursing care was initiated was III; the advanced healing technique was the one with the most appreciable results with a frequency leaving one day in between in 45 % and the response of the patients surveyed, good communication and respect for values were the most representative compendiums with the favoritism of always in 53 and 50 patients.
