RAITI: Collective Intelligence for Inclusion


Abstract:

This document presents a case of application of collective intelligence of the RAITI network and its collaborative work for the inclusion of people with disabilities. This network is composed of managers and teachers of educational institutions of general basic education, high schools and universities as well as managers and specialists of associations and federations of people with disabilities, with the aim of working for an effective educational inclusion of people with disabilities. Two themes of the work carried out by the network are analyzed in this article: the inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as the ICT used by the network to carry out its work. The objective of this article is to describe the results of networking based on the perceptions of its members in these topics, through two instruments: interview and questionnaire. The result was that the network contributes significantly to the inclusion of people with disabilities, that its work is the result of collective intelligence and the ICTs used in networking are described.
