RESULTS OF EDUCATIONAL INNOVATION THROUGH CYPE'S BIM-SERVER-CENTER-EDUCATION APPLIED TO THE FACILITIES SUBJECT OF THE MASTER OF INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING UJAEN


Abstract:

Network project management, using BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology is a reality today. As well as the need for training and specialization of engineers and architects in this matter has become a key issue for their future professional development, widely demanded in the labor market. With this intention in mind, in the current academic year 20/21, the subjects of Project Management and Industrial Installations Management, of the 2nd Year of the Master's degree in Industrial Engineering at the Higher Polytechnic School of Jaén, have been implemented on an experimental basis/University of Jaén, as an example of the practical application of teaching innovation, the use of the open BIM tool, through CYPE's BIM SERVER CENTER EDUCATION platform. The objective of this work is to present the results of this methodological experience, which has allowed the Master of Industrial Engineering student to become familiar with the figure of the BIM PROJECT MANAGER, and to become a future project manager ""online"", in collaborative environments using Open tools. BIM. With this experience, the student has been able to learn to work through the cloud, projecting, modeling, directing and managing complete projects of industrial facilities.
