RIGHT TO SELF-DETERMINATION: CASE OF NAGORNO-KARABAKH

Abstract:

The following work arises from a qualitative research, aiming to analyze the different aspects of the Nagorno-Karabakh con-flict, from the freedom of the people to their determination. The importance of this study is due to the aftermath of several conflicts that took place in this town, which have changed the region, as they are far from a constructive resolution. This case is distinguished by its complexity and particularity. The case of Nagorno Karabakh shows us that ancestral peoples struggle to be free, and to be accepted by others as free and democratic regions. The results of this research are based on the de-monstration that the peoples have to exercise their self-determination, creating for them the necessary conditions of life, to be able to have a development as a free and democratic region.
