Real time implementation of upstream FDMA-PON over an FPGA platform: Results from the EU project "Fabulous"

Abstract:

In this paper we present the first results obtained with real time data transmission over the upstream data transmission channel realized with discrete components during the FABULOUS UE project, focusing on the architecture of the DSP algorithms implemented on the FPGAs.
