Real-time monitoring of residential electricity consumption that allows its proper management


Abstract:

The poor reading of the meter that records the electrical consumption or excess of electrical consumption per home appliance that already fulfilled its half -life, can generate economic problems for the users, since these are not directly visible. This work aims to design a real-time monitoring system of electricity consumption for its management by the user. For the implementation, a network of non-invasive current sensors connected to an analogue-todigital signal converter was used and its data collection by means of the Raspberry Pi minicomputer which will process them for later visualization by open source software Grafana.
