Redesign of the graduation profile of the Graphic Design career at the Catholic University of Santiago of Guayaquil, Ecuador

Abstract:

This research was carried out at a stage when all the Ecuadorian universities, by mandate of the new Organic Law of Higher Education (LOES), had to redesign the curricula of their careers. The main objective was to redesign the exit profile of the graphic design career of the Catholic University of Santiago of Guayaquil, considering the new disciplinary tendencies and the social demands of the profession of graphic design, advertising and visual communication.
