Abstract:

In this radial product, the main objective is to highlight our roots that have been forgotten with through the years and to learn to value ours, for which the music will be used and its passage within the country since it’s one of the areas in which Ecuadorians have predominantly lost their identity. Ecuadorian music has its roots with the arrival of the ‘pasillo’ to our lands, although it’s not ours, it was adopted and transformed with a different touch that gives it our main identity, originating great successes and exponents that of them today, too little is known. It’s impressive how foreigners have valued our culture, they have been so passionate about the ‘pasillo’ that have made it their great profession. For the development of this idea, we will talk about Olga Gutiérrez who, being a foreigner, fell in love with our music, allowing it to be known outside the country, in addition to developing great successes that are little known today.
