Análisis del sector del servicio de transporte pesado en Guayaquil y la implementación de un Sistema Logístico

Abstract:

The present investigation has as objective to determine the viability of application of a logistical system to the transport of terrestrial load sector in Guayaquil, the studied populations were the 156 transport companies and 382 clients that use in a regular way the service. Using the methodology of the descriptive investigation we will investigate in the companies and using the exploratory investigation we apply surveys to the users to recognize the failures that persist. It is given to know the big problems during the transferring of the merchandises from the port terminals to their destination because of the lack of organization and control or because of the proliferation of informal transport that causes vehicular congestion and excessive noise besides the insecurity from the clients when they’re not sure if the merchandise will arrive on perfect conditions and in the exact time. We propose the creation of a specific department that takes charge of negotiating the logistical system to contribute to the development by the application of strict processes that guarantee the quality of the service and optimization of the use of resources. in addition, to maintain a constant control in the execution of the proposals all employees should be trained so they will integrate the association and achieve the objectives that the companies are traced, being able to satisfy the necessities and their clients’ demands. In order to carry out the necessary checkups in each one of the units of transport it must apply a maintenance proposal to reduce the time of wait stops to benefit the transport associations reducing the operative expenses, reaching a better image and dependability in the view of the clients because of the offered service and contributing to diminish the vehicular chaos and the sound contamination
