Relation between of the climate yield and quality of the Pennisetum purpureum in the Amazonía Ecuatoriana)

Abstract:

The elements of the climate are of great importance in the handling of the grass species. The objective of the present work was to establish the relation between climatic fators with indicators of the yield and the quality of the Pennisetum purpureum vc Maralfalfa. Parcels of the species of 30m2 were sowed with a stake and distance of a meter, to evaluate the harvesting ages 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 days. A design was used at random in blocks and it was measured, yield of green and dry matter of leaves and shafts, the total production of this in dry and humid base, as well as the gross protein, fiber, Ca and P. Correlations settled down with the evaluated variables and the elements of the climate, the adjusted R2 was informed. They were related through multiple lineal equations the indicators of the yield and the quality, with the elements of the climate, it was used the age like independent variable. For the selection of the expression of better adjustment it was considered high value of R2 adjusted, high significance, low standard error and of estimate, smaller half square of the error, significant contribution of the terms and low indetermination coefficient (1-R2). For the analyses the statistical program Statistic version 8 for Windows was used. The results reflected high coefficients of regression to exception of the P, in the different certain models. It is concluded that equations of lineal multiple regression that allow to calculate for the species the different variables evaluated starting from the precipitations and the relative humidity settled down.
