Relevance analysis for the evaluation of the teaching vocation from extrinsic and intrinsic variables: Case of schools in the metropolitan area of Medellín - Colombia


Abstract:

Vocation is an intrinsic factor of motivation, which involves security. The study presents an analysis of the teaching vocation in 32 variables: 14 intrinsic and 18 extrinsic; the study was made in 484 records obtained through surveys of teachers in 51 schools in the metropolitan area of Medellín. A relevance analysis of each of these variables was completed applying 5 different selectors based on approximate sets. The results showed that the vocation is reaffirmed with the job opportunity, and the possibility of applying and generating new knowledge.
