Repotenciación y recalibración de los bancos de pruebas de las turbinas y bombas del laboratorio de turbomaquinaria hidráulica de la Facultad de Mecánica


Abstract:

This thesis was addressed to perform a repowering and calibration of turbines test banks and pumps hydraulic laboratory turbomachinery in Mechanical Faculty. From the study, an evaluation was carried out about the mechanical and electronic equipment state and instruments belonging to each test banks. However, these mechanical equipments have been spoiled and lost accuracy in making real-time data because of work and over time. The study aims to improve the conditions and characteristics of each test banks, in order to have a functional and useful for training students practical environment, as a result, a better interpretation of the data obtained in the laboratory practices. The electronic devices and calibration instruments were used in order to make the recalibration of the pressure sensors, besides the Lab VIEW software was carried out for processing real-time data, all this process will allow us to perform tests of high accuracy and reliability. After the study, we can conclude that the new transfer functions of each of the pressure transducers helps the operation of the test banks is suitable, this was verified by comparing the calculation type of each test banks with the reports that practices generated. It is recommended occasionally implement maintenance plans in order to extend the life of the test banks from this laboratory.
