Research production of reflective and critical thinking of nursing professionals in Ecuador

Abstract:

Critical thinking is defined as a way of thinking in which the thinker improves the quality of his thinking by seizing the inherent structures of the act of thinking and subjecting them to intellectual standards. In the Nursing profession, this act is reflected in the process of nursing care from the theoretical point of view. However, the practical application becomes a challenge for the university teacher who must train the student in this aspect. The objective of this study was to identify the research production of reflexive and critical thinking of the nursing professional in Ecuador. With an exploratory and descriptive methodology of a quantitative nature, a documentary analysis was carried out in the main scientific databases and repositories of the accbkp_redited universities of Ecuador in search of the key terms "reflexive and critical thinking of nursing in Ecuador".
