Resiliencia del Personal de Enfermería en tiempos de crisis sanitaria


Abstract:

This research study addresses the issue of resilience and how it developed in nursing personnel. During their hospital work providing nursing care, the health professional is subjected to different changes or alterations in their environment that can negatively affect their performance, due to factors that could limit or disable their development. The development of resilience should be an essential practice in nursing work since this is the ability to face adversities or misfortunes in life and transform them in a positive way, moving forward and overcoming any difficulties. The following research aims to: understand how the nursing staff became resilient in times of health crisis at the “Matilde Hidalgo de Procel” hospital. Methodology: The study method was based on a qualitative, descriptive, phenomenological approach, using the information collection instrument, a semi-structured interview of open questions was carried out to the key informants, who were 6 nurses who work in the area of hospitalization, who report having worked during the COVID-19 pandemic. whose ages fluctuate between 30 and 50 years. Prior to conducting the interview, they were informed of the purpose, its intentionality and its future impact and the confidentiality of their identity through informed consent. Conclusions; From the data obtained such as the faith shown, the hope expressed, optimism, empathy, immolation and sense of duty among other qualities, it was possible to demonstrate their resilient capacity as well as health.
