Respuesta agronómica de cuatro híbridos de pepino Cucumis sativus L. con activador de crecimiento Enziprom

Abstract:

The present research was carried out during the dry season at the beginning of September and the end of December in the Independencia enclosure, Daule Canton, Guayas province. Four hybrids were studied (Market More 76, Cetriolo Long Green Ridge, Cetriolo Piccolo Di Parige and Cetriolo Chinese Slangen) with a growth activator called Enziprom (without application, with application). The fully randomized block design with factorial arrangement (4 x 2) was applied. The variables evaluated were: plant length (cm), fruits per plant, fruit length (cm), fruit diameter (cm), fruit weight (g) and yield (kg / ha). According to the results, we came to the following conclusions: 1) The Market More 76 hybrid reached the highest yield with an average of 9.225 kg / ha. and 2). The highest marginal rate of return was obtained by treatment 5 (Cetriolo Piccolo Di Parige with application of Enziprom) with 50.68%, which means that its use is profitable.
