Respuesta del cultivo de arroz (Oryza sativa L. ) bajo riego a diferentes niveles de cianamida cálcica en la zona de Pueblo Nuevo


Abstract:

In the lands of the Las Delicias farm owned by Mr. Erme Briones, in the Simón Bolívar-Guayas canton, an assay was established in the Nidera N-70 hybrid corn, in which calcium cyanamide was evaluated alone and mixed in the crop of corn. With this, the effects of the doses of products on the agronomic behavior and an economic analysis of the grain yield according to the cost of the treatments were measured. The randomized complete blocks experimental design was used, with 12 treatments and three repetitions. The variables were evaluated: days to flowering, height of plant, height of insertion of ears, ears per plant, diameter of ears of corn, length of ears, relation grain / grass, weight of ears of corn; weight of 100 grains and grain yield. The evaluated variables were subjected to the analysis of variance, and the Tukey test was applied at 95 % probability to determine the statistical difference between the means of the treatments. Analyzed the experimental results, found significant effects in several agronomic characteristics of the doses of calcium cyanamide complementary to the edaphic fertilization. With regard to days to flowering and harvest, no statistical significance was reported between the treatments. The result of the applications showed improvement of the physiological and morphological conditions of the plantation, the crop achieved an adequate development, increasing the growth of the plants and the quality of the harvest. The highest yield was presented with Urea 200 kg / ha + Calcium Cyanamide 150 kg / ha (8.33 t / ha). The treatment Urea 200 kg / ha + Calcium Cyanamide 150 kg / ha greater amount reached greater utility with $ 860.59.
