Respuesta del cultivo de arroz Oryza sativa L. al estrés hídrico y su impacto en la productividad
Abstract:
The present research work required for graduation: Response of rice cultivation (Oryza sativa L.) to the hydro stress and its impact in the productivity was carried out during the dry season of the year 2016, in the property of Mr. Milton Solórzano Jurado, which is located in the area known as America-Lomas, Daule canton, Guayas province, whose general objective was: to carry out a study related to the response of rice cultivation to hydro stress induced during the vegetative phase to increase the yield of the crops with the purpose of improving the economic incomes of the farmers, for which specific objectives were: 1) to evaluate the agronomic behavior of the rice crop to the water stress induced during the vegetative phase and different planting distances 2) to determine the best alternative of the management of the interaction water stress and plant spacing 3) conduct a comparative economic analysis between the best treatments and the commercial control. The factors under study were as follows: factor A. planting distance, Factor B. Water stress, compared to farmer technology. We used the random blocks design, with 3 replicates. Tukey's multiple range test was used for the comparison of the means at 5% probability. The following results were obtained: The variables plant height, number of clumps per m2, number of panicle per m2 and weight of one thousand seeds did not present statistical difference between treatments, except for the panicle length variable, which had a significant difference, and hence it is consider the best treatment (T2) with 32 cm in length, compared to the TA control that reached 29 cm in length. When it was planted at a distance of 0.35 x 0.35 m, with two plants per site, the adjusted yield was 6352 kg / ha, corresponding to T2, in comparison with the control one which obtained 5352 kg / ha planted at a distance of 0.25 x 0.25 m, and seven plants per site. There is a numerical differentiation in which T2 exceeds TA by approximately 19% Treatment two (T2) had a return of 97% in terms of production costs and 49% in terms of incomes from sales in relation to the control one which obtained a profitability of 45% on costs of production and 31% in terms of income from sales.
