Rest web services: A revolution in the way of accessing data

Abstract:

An efficient service that meets the requirements for a quality software product is the most complex decision in a development project, using Web Service REST is increasing because of its popularity and the revolution it generated in the form of access to information, being a service that provides a client-server interaction for data processing in a simple, agile and flexible way, without the need for the status of requests, allowing large-scale systems to be integrated. The service framework is based on the Vista-Controller model, its basic operations are the axis for its characterization and advantages that it has. A theoretical framework was made that allows us to understand everything that concerns a Web Service REST from the outset. A bibliographic review was conducted to discover and identify what a Web Service REST is and the benefits that are immersed in this service.
