Revista digital sobre la memoria social del barrio Chillogallo, en el sur de Quito

Abstract:

The present work of investigation tries to reconstruct the social memory of Chillogallo's neighborhood located in the south of Quito, across the production of a digital magazine that he will contribute with information to the inhabitants of the sector and to the of Quito citizenship, with the purpose of showing historical moments, social practices and the trade of his surroundings. The population increase of the sector and the constant migratory activities, took the deterioration of the memory as a consequence, in order that it exists the reconstruction of the social memory is essential to associate the sense of belonging towards the community with his inhabitants, claiming that hereby the past links itself and present by means of the analysis of the obtained results. For which, the holidays, the sports, the customs and the streets, they are aspects of our life that are constructing an identity and for this reason, it is necessary to document these experiences by means of interviews and photographies to spread the environment of this popular sector.
