Rol de enfermería en la psicoprofilaxis obstétrica en el distrito 09D06-Tarqui de Mayo a julio 2018

Abstract:

The objective of the research was to determine the role of nursing in obstetric psychoprophylaxis in District 09D06 - Tarqui, so that the attention to women before, during, postpartum, May-July 2018 is strengthened. Descriptive, descriptive methodology was applied , transversal, quantitative, with use of surveys to the nursing staff. The results showed that they do not perform the evaluation of the pregnant woman by pre-test, only half were interested in conducting educational talks because they considered that it is not part of their role. We examined the availability of resources and documentation in the execution of obstetric psycho-prophylaxis, District 09 D06 - Tarqui does not have the support of the Ministry of Public Health for the application of this tool. In conclusion, it was determined that the nursing role in obstetric psycho-prophylaxis strengthens the attention of women before, during, postpartum, because it allows the decrease in the number of cesarean sections, who want to participate in psycho-prophylaxis programs.
