S3116 Comparative Study of One-Person Technique and Two-Person Technique for Elective Colonoscopy in Ecuador
Abstract:
METHODS: In this prospective study, from July 2018 to February 2020, 876 colonoscopy examinations were recruited. These colonoscopy examinations were performed by five endoscopists in two centers. The primary end-point is adenoma detection rate. Secondary outcome measures included, cecal intubation rate (CIR), cecal intubation time (CIT), terminal ileum (TI) intubation rate, total colonoscopy time, procedure related complications, procedure tolerability between one-man and two-man method group were recorded.
