SCF calculations for hydrogen in a spherical box

Abstract:

SCF calculations for a hydrogen atom in a spherical box have been performed. The basis functions are products of STO's and cutoff functions. The variations of the energy and the hyperfine splitting as functions of r 0, the sphere radius, have been studied. Copyright © 1977 American Institute of Physics.
