SOCIAL SNAPSHOT: ELEMENTS OF INFLUENCE ON STREET VENDING IN ZONE 8 OF ECUADOR
Abstract:
The research presented is part of the FCI project “Improvement proposals for the urban, economic and social development of Zone 8 from the evaluation of economic models associated with street vending” and aims to present the results obtained in Regarding the market research on the street vending market of Zone 8 of Ecuador in the year 2021. Through the exploratory and descriptive methodology with a quantitative approach, the social analysis of the subjects who work as vendors was ten-ded. street vendors, as well as the macroenvironment that gives context to this phenomenon through the PESTEL analysis. A system of improvements related to vendors and their ways of operating in the area of influence made up of Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón are proposed.
