STUDY OF THE HERITAGE OF THE TOWN OF VINALES, REPUBLIC OF CUBA, FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF RURAL TOURISM

Abstract:

This work presents part of the results obtained by the PhD research thesis << Aportaciones metodologicas para la introduccion del turismo rural en la Republica de Cuba. Estudio de caso: zona turstica de Vinales >>. The main aim of this research is the analysis of the dfferent natural and cultural resources which form the turistic patrimony of a province (Vinales), in the Republic of Cuba, to support the introduction of rural tourism modality. Several questionnaires to tourism workers and farmer families of the place were made to reach the goal mentioned by means of their experience and popular wisdom, contributing to the conclusion of this investigation.
