Safety and occupational health performance: Intervention model based on accident statistics

Abstract:

The performance of the health and safety management system was analyzed, confronting it with the accident rate in three small and medium size Ecuadorian private companies during the 2014-2018 period. The methodology used included the analysis of management system performance based on knowing the percentage of the efficiency index and the accident rates in each company. Depending on the results obtained, the intervention or accompaniment model is proposed.
