Satisfacción laboral en auxiliares de enfermería del Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo. Azogues, enero-julio 2017
Abstract:
Introduction: The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes the important role played by nursing auxiliaries in hospital institutions and job satisfaction has been reported as a fundamental pbkp_redictor in relation to the quality of the work they perform and the intention to abandon their work in many cases. So keeping qualified nursing assistant staff is considered worldwide as a challenge for health organizations. Objective: To establish job satisfaction in nursing auxiliaries at the Homero Castanier Crespo Hospital in the city of Azogues from January to July 2017. Materials and methods: A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted. The population with a total of 114 nursing assistants working in the hospital. As a technique, the survey was used to evaluate demographic factors and the Satisfaction Questionnaire S20 / 23 J.L. Meliá and J.M. Peiró for five factors: supervision (I), physical work environment (II) benefits received (III), intrinsic job satisfaction (IV), and satisfaction with participation (V). The form was used as the instrument where the data will be transcribed, processed Word, Excel and SPSS version 22, presented in tables and graphs, statistical analysis, this was based on frequencies and percentages. Results: At the Homero Castanier Crespo Hospital in the city of Azogues, I explain that women feel quite satisfied with 90% and men with 10% feel very satisfied, compared to the age between 20-30 years they are very satisfied with 44.5%, at the level of secondary education (Basic General Education) they are 90% satisfied, in working time between 11-30 they are quite satisfied with 67, 2% and 1-10 years of work are very satisfied with 27.2%, finally singles are quite satisfied with 60.9%. Conclusion: At the Hospital Homero Castanier Crespo in the city of Azogues, in the staff of Auxiliaries of Nursing, January-July 2017, within the level of job satisfaction they feel quite satisfied with 96.5%, and 3.5% satisfied, showing that they perform their tasks with stability
