Scoring to measure the risk of money laundering and financing crimes to natural persons for companies in the public or private sector
Abstract:
The present article analyzes variables that can be used by the obligated subjects to manage the risk of money laundering when establishing a commercial relationship with a natural person client, which can be incorporated in Risk Management Models for Prevention of Money Laundering, to manage the Know Your Customer Policy. The result obtained determined that the variables that allow to implement procedures of due diligence to manage the crime of money laundering and an adequate knowledge of the customer natural person are: economic activity, age, and years of commercial relationship.
