Abstract:

The research was carried out at the Laica Eloy Alfaro University of Manabí-Ecuador, whose objective was to determine the importance of search engines to complement asynchronous education. For the development of the work, qualitative, quantitative, analytical methods were used to know the reality through which students are studying in this new educational modality. The survey technique was applied, the information was processed using the SPSS 21.00 software. The degree of dissatisfaction of the students could be evidenced, the critical factors identified in the problem as few strategies and clear objectives for increasing creativity, promoting new strategies to develop and enhance methods and techniques that allow to motivate the 400 students investigated. With the implementation of the proposed pedagogical and methodological plan, it will be possible to improve attention on the use of search engines in the new digital classes, so that students can assume this process normally and with better academic performance.
