Self-esteem and assertiveness in students of the dental career


Abstract:

The health professional must have the ability to selfregulate their emotions and to identify, understand and guide those of their patients. This study addresses the interrelation between assertiveness and self-esteem without determining the causality in them, in students who attend the 1st year of the UNIANDES Dentistry career, from the application of the Assertive Behavior Self-Report, and the Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory.
