Self-esteem in middle and late adolescents


Abstract:

This study established the degree of self-esteem in the middle and late adolescence of two public educational institutions in the urban area of the city of Cuenca-Ecuador. Three hundred and eight students (308) from first to third year of baccalaureate and Second university cycle. To adolescents from 15 to 19 years old, they were applied; Scale of Self-esteem of Rosenberg (EAR). The quantitative, exploratory, descriptive, transversal research concludes with the existence of high levels of self-esteem, there are no significant differences between self-esteem levels by age and sex.
