Seroprevaliance of helicobacter pylori in patients of the Ecuadorian coast

Abstract:

From 1994, the World Health Organization categorized the Helicobacter pylori as a group 1 carcinogen. Conscious of the importance of determining the prevalence of this bacteria in our medium, we decided to investigate the latter in a sampling of 2.06 patients from the Ecuadorian coast with upper gastrointestinal symptomatology, their endoscopic findings and their histopathologic results, which we mention below.
