Simulación en la adquisición de competencias clínicas para atención del paciente traumatizado en el sitio del accidente con estudiantes de medicina de la UTPL, periodo septiembre 2014 - Marzo 2015.
Abstract:
The aim of this study was to implement the workshop of simulation for attention to the patient traumatized in the site of the accident in students of medicine of the UTPL and to evaluate the acquisition of clinical competitions, by means of the production of didactic material and the use of a clinical objective structured evaluation (OSCE). The study was descriptive, prospective with a transversal approach and quantitative design which was applied to a sample of 40 students from Ninth Cycle, randomly divided into two groups of 20 students. The workshop to the first group was given using the traditional mode, and for the other group the virtual mode was used. The results were: "Good" 30 %, "Very good" 25 %, "Notable" 20 %, "Satisfactory" 15 %, "Sufficient" 10 % in traditional mode; and "Sufficient" 40 %, “Good" 25 %, "Satisfactory" 20 %, "Very good" 10 %, "Notable" 5 % in virtual mode. In conclusion 100 % of the students of the virtual mode and traditional acquired the competition.
