Simulated Calculation of the Flexural Strength of Long Cortical Bovine Bone
Abstract:
This paper presents a methodology that describes a process that will help achieve quality tomographic images of bone material. In addition, a simulation technique is presented that facilitates the performance of virtual tests for the study of mechanical properties of long bones. The simulation results are compared with experimental results, obtaining a maximum relative error of 1.8%.
