Análisis estadístico de tablas de contingencia y chi cuadrado para medir el flujo migratorio en el Ecuador en el 2018

Abstract:

The objective of this work is to determine the causes for people to migrate to other countries, due to the lack of solutions that their country of origin denies, becoming a phenomenon of constant growth, giving way to overpopulation problems in the countries of destination as well as the lack of job opportunities for the inhabitants of those countries, to provide a solution to the variables that cause migration, a database corresponding to the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INEC) has been taken, with a total of 7000,000 records, which obtained a sample of 1,000,000 records that will be analyzed through contingency tables and determine the linear dependence of the variables. The chi-square statistic was used with hypothesis tests. As a result, 62% foreigners entered and left the country, compared to 38% of the country that also decided to leave due to residence.
