Single-Phase Grid-Connected MicroInverter for Low Power Photovoltaic Residential Applications
Abstract:
This paper presents a single-phase grid-connected PV system with unfolding flyback microinverter in dq0 reference frame. The d-axis reference current is obtained from the Incremental Conductance maximum power point tracking algorithm through a PI controller to obtain the maximum active power from the PV module. To guarantee unity power factor in the common coupling point, the q-axis reference current is set to zero. A group of microinverters connected in parallel to the grid under shading conditions is studied. Simulation results validate the performance of the control scheme.
