Abstract:

The organizations of today seek to improve their processes using different means, among which are the informatics tools, this research raises improve the process of students taking pre professional practices of Technical University of Cotopaxi through by using information technology. As a solution it has developed a web application that facilitates the pre professional, practices, which are considered aspects such as management document, request management, management fees, user management, management of academic periods, Academic Units management and several reports, so the process traditionally is changed to a more efficient and remotely To achieve the above it has defined the use of platforms of free development among them can be mentioned Play Framework, this tool is the principal in the development of the solution, because it is based on Java language and is oriented to the rapid development of web applications, which make use of an architecture of modern software known as Model-View-Controller, also in order to get a better user experience is used Jquery and Bootstrap technologies, finally as a means of storing information was considered the motor of robust data base PostgreSQL.
